Terms of Use
Effective 3 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the VitaGuard Android app and the VitaGuard online service (“VitaGuard”, “we”, “us”). By using VitaGuard you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use VitaGuard. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. What VitaGuard is
VitaGuard is a personal health-tracking app. You can use it to:
- record blood pressure, glucose, insulin, medications and doses;
- set reminders, and see charts and statistics;
- with an account, back up and sync your records;
- generate AI Doctor Reports;
- where available in your version of the app, share your records with a doctor you choose.
Much of the app works offline on your phone, without an account.
2. Not medical advice
VitaGuard is not a medical device. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or advice, and it does not replace a doctor or other qualified health professional. Always talk to a health professional about your readings, medications and treatment, and never ignore or delay professional advice because of something you saw in VitaGuard.
In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. VitaGuard does not monitor you in real time and does not alert emergency services.
Charts, statistics, targets, reminders and AI Doctor Reports depend on the information you enter and may be incomplete or wrong. AI-written commentary in particular can contain errors. Reminders depend on your phone’s settings and may not fire. A doctor you connect with is responsible for their own medical decisions; VitaGuard does not supervise them.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secret. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- An account is for one person. Do not create an account for someone else without their permission.
- Tell us at support@vitaguard.health if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. Acceptable use
Do not:
- break the law with VitaGuard, or upload information you have no right to share;
- try to access other people’s accounts or data, or our systems beyond what the app allows;
- interfere with or overload the service, or probe, scan or test its security without our written permission;
- reverse engineer the service except where the law allows it;
- misuse feedback, sign-up, password-reset or account-deletion forms, or use automated means to abuse them;
- resell or commercially exploit the service without our permission.
5. Plans, trials and paid features
Some features need a paid plan, for example cloud sync and AI Doctor Reports. Plans currently include Plus and Pro, and we may offer a free trial or promotional codes. What each plan includes, its price, the billing period, renewal and how to cancel will be shown to you before you buy. Purchases made through Google Play are also governed by Google Play’s terms, and you manage or cancel them in Google Play. Deleting your VitaGuard account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Refunds are handled as described at the time of purchase and as required by law.
6. Sharing with a doctor
Where doctor connections are available, you decide whether to connect your account to a doctor. While connected, the doctor can see the health records in your VitaGuard account, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can end the connection. Information the doctor has already seen, or messages already sent to them, cannot be recalled.
7. Your information and content
Your records remain yours. You allow us to store, process and transmit them only as needed to provide VitaGuard to you: for example to sync them, create the reports you request, and share them with doctors you authorize. You can delete them as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Our intellectual property
The VitaGuard app, service, name, logo and content belong to VitaGuard or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your own use under these terms.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep VitaGuard available and your data safe, but we do not promise the service will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features, and may suspend the online service for maintenance or security. Keep the app updated; older versions may stop working with the online service.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, creates risk for other users or for VitaGuard, or where the law requires it. Where appropriate we will tell you why. You may stop using VitaGuard at any time and delete your account.
11. Deleting your account
You can delete your account in the app or at vitaguard.health/delete-account. Deletion is permanent:
- your cloud records, AI Doctor Reports and doctor connections are removed and cannot be restored;
- any remaining paid-plan time on the account is lost;
- the app clears its VitaGuard data from the phone you delete from.
Export a backup from the app first if you want to keep a copy. Our Privacy Policy explains the limited records that remain after deletion.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, VitaGuard is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for health outcomes or decisions based on information in VitaGuard. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, if the change is significant, make reasonable efforts to let you know, for example in the app or by email. If you keep using VitaGuard after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.
